Another beautiful walk along the Railway line again

Two days ago we went plane spotting on a lousy day when the wind was gusting 20-25 knots at the George Aiport, today his highness picked a nice day to go for a walk with his madam , who is my wonderful care giver. When she makes some yummy chicken I always get the nice juicy bones.
Oh yummy , my mouth is just watering thinking of those bones, back to my Superwoof pellets, but hey I look good don't I just look at the below photo

Now I have to jump across little ditches what is his case ?
It never seems to stop do this little trick, follow me their.
Oh boy I need to boss his highness around, hey but wait
my mistress does that for for me, she is quite patient till
his grumpiness does not listen, I hear that is common among
human males as the lady talks, they say "Oh boy here she goes again" Let me switch off.

But hey look what is that big thing coming long the railway line, oh its just the local PE to Voorbaai, Mossel Bay freight train hauled by a Class 34 diesel locomotive. Whew what a mouthful. You know I learn alot from my master.

If you look at the below image, I can be the sweetest looking big dog don't you agree. I must the most photographed dog in the Garden Route, where ever I go people are just amazed at my size, the local children just love looking at me. So I must be something of a doggie celebrity in George.

Swimming at the Malgas River

Boy was it a hot day (33 degress), and here I had to be dragged on a walk. But hey look I see a river and I can swim, but hey why is the water so dark. Well its because of all the nutrients in the soil. Now what Great Dane knows that type of info Woof, Woof, Meww (sorry I am not a cat)
Now here I am with my master "grumpy spice"
and this one is with my mistress the sweetest person alive always helping a soul in need.

Now this photo is of my fellow canine friend ,
Kelpy border collie cross, who knows what he is.
I am a GREAT Dane you know. Pure breed of note.

Now my fellow canine friend looks more scrat,

Ahh what a nice swim that was, I am not such a great lover of water but boy was that nice.

Woof Woof, see you another day

Another boring day while my owner does some plane spotting

Boy was it the wind blowing today at the George airport (FAGG) while my master was photographing some planes landing on Runway 29. I just sat back in my newish Chad-wagon (Isuzu KB280DT), of which I take up almost the whole back section, but you know Great Danes are BIG dogs, not as small as the local George mascot - Maltese poodle. These little snappers always bite me, such unfriendly critters.

The wind was gusting up to 25 knots hence my long ears are flapping in the wind, but I am with my master on the road again. Beats sitting at home staring at the road normally waiting for him to come home.

Great Danes are such intelligent dogs, now this is ridiculous with ole grumpiness, he is trying to turn me into an intellect. Spot the tea mug for all the old man he must be from England, oh he is from the 1820 settlers that landed in Algoa Bay. Oh well he is an English & IrishMiles too and occasionally grumpy . You see I can be quite patient while I have the "doggy" taken out of me with such stupid pranks.

Well lets see some more pawprints of me as I am an admired breed, kids always say "Mummy look at that big Dalmation" or that must be a "Super Dalmation". Whats up with kids today I am a Harlequin Great Dane. A noble breed from Germany used for hunting boar. I can take a cow down, but not me I am an educated Dane having gone thru the Miles training school of Dogs, now that is a tough training programme. My master comes from a line of tough old men, who always had dogs by their side. Well their is what I have come to do see what he was photographed its a Kulula MN901 flite coming from Joburg, it look s like a Boeing 737-800 series. Now thats what I call a clever dane, wow I am getting big headed - but hey I have a big head look.

Its time for walkies - Sunday

Whew its about time his grumpiness took me for a walk, its been ages and with all these new visitors to my home its time to stretch my legs and enjoy some freedom. I took his grumpiness to a nice walk close to the George to Oudtshoorn railway along the Outeniqua Mountains, this geographic info is only for those clever doggies like Great Danes of course, hey thats me. What a beauty I am, I'm sure you will agree if you look at this dogprint
I mean photo depends if you are human or an intelligent dog like me. Well clever dog Mr Chad why are you on a railway line ? There is only one freight train a day at night. Got you there.

Humans are so tiresome but I forgive the old man, oh thats my owner as he is in his forties. Here is me waiting for him at a hiking trail marker.

I came across a corgi cross border collie on my walk and boy was he small, his little owners said please do not eat him of which I responded Woof Yummie, of course not I am not a vicious dog normally. I am a vegetarian

Not until you provoke me and then I can be MEAN, as I stand over 6 foot 2 if I stand up. Here I am eating his grumpiness or is it his sweetness.

Well Woof woof to all your canine netters.

Today I get my own dog box

As a 72kg male Harlequin Great Dane (4 years old) I am really sick and tired of being chased into the kitchen where I sleep. I love to sleep at my masters feet while he tinkers on the internet. I love the creature comforts like sleeping in while my master snores his head off (you guessed it he is late riser in the morning).

He has been ignoring me laterly as he been assisting the Booysens Family look for their dad who went missing in a light plane on the 26th Dec, well I do not think the old chap will be looking physically but he helped organise lifts for the various members, fuel, satellite phones etc etc Look here more info on the Avcom forum.

So today I was shown my new home, boy is it roomy , but I hope it is warm in winter otherwise I will yowl all tonite and boy that will irritate his grumpiness and possibly he will stick me in the warm kitchen. We lost the garages when my big yard was sold off, did I hate that. No more running around the big yard.

Well here is my first photo of my home. Guess he is in the dogbox for a reason , must have been my mistress who put him there. Boy is he having a hard time to get me in, why does he not use some nice yummies to coax me into dogbox or rather kennel

Ahh that looking abit better, hey I can fit in, its not so bad.

Home at least, I think its time for the old chap to get out of my space and goto his house, that is if he is allowed to . Woof woof till tomorrow
